New compilation from FEARSOME RECORDS

FearSomeRecords has released a new compilation: BLOWN TO PIECES 4. This compilation is the 6th release by FearSomeRecords.

DERANGED has found their new bassist

DERANGED has announced that TOMAS AHLGREN (ARSONIST, PANDEMONIUM) has been added to the line up as the new 5 string bass player. The band has been jamming a while with an incomplete line up, but it’s now complete with Tomas Ahlgren.

PAGAN HELLFIRE album "The Will of Night" has been released on vinyl by German label Obscure Abhorrence. Limited to 210 handnumbered copies, the LP features a new, previously unreleased bonus song and comes with an additional insert.

EARTH completes a new release

Southern Lord recording artists Earth have finished the recording and mastering of their latest album tentatively entitled Hibernaculam. The audio material consists of (3) old Earth classics redone in a different, stark and clean tone (ala the "Hex" material) plus the track "A Plague of Angels" which was previously available on a rare tour-only 12".

The album will be a special dual CD/DVD "hybrid". With the audio mentioned above on one side, an Earth documentary filmed by Seldon Hunt lies on the other. HOUR OF PENANCE records a new 3 Track Promo

Italian Brutal death metal band Hour of Penance, currently unsigned, has completed the works for a 3-track promo, preview of the still untitled next album of the band.
The recording session of the promo will start on the 18th of December at the 16th CELLAR STUDIOS where the band already recorded its 2 albums "Disturbance" and "Pageantry for Martyrs" (out for Xtreemmusic REC.) .
Here's the (provisory) Tracklist : 1- Misconception2- Slavery in a Deaf Decay3- Hierarchy of the fools.
According to the band, the new material represents the evolution of Hour of Penance in a new shapeof Brutal/Death Metal. Fast and annihiliting riffs combined with some epic parts, twisting structurewill surely blow any listeners away.
Since Hour Of Penance is currently without a contract, this 3-track promo, once recorded, will be sent only to a list of selected labels and available for listening at the official band websites:
